Track Rules at A1 Motor Park
Essential rules every driver must follow
A1 Motor Park follows strict FIA Grade 3 safety standards. These rules exist to protect you, other drivers, and track marshals. Ignorance is not an excuse — know the rules before you drive.
DO'S ✅
- Always complete a thorough car check before going on track
- Keep your helmet on at all times on circuit
- Use mirrors regularly — check every 3-4 seconds
- Respect blue flags — let faster cars pass immediately
- Keep to the pit lane speed limit (typically 60 km/h)
- Signal clearly before entering/exiting pit lane
- Report any car issues to marshals immediately
- Keep your car in the designated grid position during sessions
- Attend the mandatory drivers briefing
- Wear full safety gear: helmet, gloves, race suit
DON'TS ❌
- No overtaking under yellow flags — ever, no exceptions
- No mobile phones while driving on circuit
- No aggressive or dangerous driving — instant disqualification
- Do not stop on circuit unless emergency — pull off safely
- No alcohol before or during a driving session
- Do not exceed pit lane speed limit
- No passengers in the car during timed sessions
- Do not ignore flag signals — serious penalty
- No driving in reverse on the circuit
- Do not cut chicanes or track limits — lap deleted
