One of the most frequent questions we receive at Circuit Insider is: "Can I drive on the track without a valid street driving license?" The answer depends on the type of event. Here is the general guide for your visit to Samokov.

Public Driving vs. Private Events
- Public Driving / Tourist Rides: If the track operates under standard road traffic regulations, a valid national driving license is mandatory.
- Private Track Days: During many private events, you do not technically need a street license because the track is private property. However, most organizers require you to be at least 18 years old or hold a professional racing license (FIA).
What if I don't have a license?
If you don't have a license but still want to experience the A1 Motor Park, your best option is a Passenger Lap (Taxi Ride). Many professional teams and drivers offer sessions where you can sit in the co-driver's seat and experience the circuit at full speed.
Important: Insurance & Equipment
Remember that your standard car insurance does not cover accidents on a race track. Always check for specialized track day insurance. Also, a helmet is mandatory for all sessions!
